craftgrrl | Fish tote, speech bag, and journal

If you live near a Joann's and haven't already...go before tomorrow! I got about 8 yards of different fabric for $17 bucks today. They have adorable fabric on clearance so I advice you to go before the sale ends!

Ok...anyway here's 3 things I made recently. :)

First is a fish tote.

This bag is pretty giant but I was happy with it and so is it's new owner, so it worked pretty well.

It has one big velcroed pocket inside.

Next is my speech bag. One of our first assignments was to make a bag that represented ourselves, so I decided to sew mine. It took forever to make but I got a good response from the girls in my group that I had to present in front of. :)

The outside had to represent our personalities, likes, dislikes, and our social selves.

And the inside has to represent our inner selves, who we see ourselves as, beliefs, morals, etc.

And the journal that I made last night...

I like this, but once I was done I realized I should have put a pocket in the front for pens and pencils!!
