craftgrrl | my first post!

the urban outfitters in ann arbor was having this ginormous sale the other day--i got a $20 yellow hoodie marked down from $68!--so i took the plain hoodie home, made a bird stencil, bought a fabric marker and created this:

& a closer look:

i later added another bird to the other side so they'd be symmetrical (my boyfriend was very insistent about it ^_^) and i'm pretty happy with the result. word to the wise however; if you ever choose to work with fabric markers, make sure you pick up at least two because although efficient, they tend to run out extremely fast.
