calling all craftgrrl's!
i'm having quite the dilemma.
my boyfriend and i just dis-assembled our fishtank [it just was too time consuming and my cat would not allow anything in it to live] ANYWAYS...
we kept the stand but got rid of the tank. i had a makeshift cover over the stand while the tank was up, i never got around to making it pretty or crafting anything nice out of it.
so now is my chance to make a nice stand cover/spread but i am all out of ideas. does anyone have any ideas/patterns/suggestions/etc?
here are some pictures of everything i'm talking about:
[maybe that will enduce plenty of creative visions - they are kinda crappy pictures]
fabric:

i think it has to be at least 3/4 yards. stretchy material. forest green.
bare stand:

old fish tank stand. needs a pretty cover to hide it's pathetic-ness.
stand with fabric as is:

looks ok i guess, but needs some love.
ha, like my record bowls?
siiiiigh. HELP!
