Brass Stampings as Molds for Resin Casting?
I've looked over the memories, but this question hasn't come up. Any help would be appreciated.
I have some brass stampings that I want to use as molds for casting resin. Is even this possible? Will I be able to pop the finished object out after it's cured or will it adhere to the inside of the stamping? I read about a mold release, but it mentioned being only for latex. I'm wondering if the brass stamping will be able to withstand the resin. Has anybody tried something liek this?
Also, this will be my first time working with resin, so any tips &hints would be greatly appreciated.
