craftgrrl | Wildwood Runeset

Hello. I usually just poke my head around here, but I was so proud of how this project turned out that I wanted to share. My boyfriend had the idea to make this rune set for my dad for his birthday out of beach stones we collected this summer. He came up with all the symbols and etched them into the rocks with an etching tool I had from a printmaking class. He even wrote a booklet with their meanings and instructions on how to use the set. I helped by making the bag and constructing the booklet!

Each stone is made with different curly que designs that he came up with.

We printed the book on linen paper on our inkjet.

The cover material of the booklet is a heavy floral paper lined with cardstock.
