[identity profile] krysanya.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl
Greetings! I've been searching the internet for a few days and have yet to come up with an interesting project for using store-bought washcloths. Everyone has instructions on how to make bunnies, or snowmen, or very simple basket things...I was looking for something, well I guess 'different' would be the best adjective. Something with style, and creativity, something I would see here!
I purchased two 12-packs of tan washcloths for a great buy, thinking the Mighty Internet would yield some awesome ideas of how to use them, but I'm coming up empty! Very disappointing - so I'm wondering, do you have a great washcloth craft that you would like to share? I'm not opposed to sewing, ripping, or otherwise destroying the things, I just want something interesting!

(Washcloths that are similar)

I do have this link to a neat pattern for a terry cloth kitty, but it seems like using such small pieces would be wasteful, plus the little guys are too big for washcloth-use (I'm not -that- good at sewing to take the pattern down in size to fit, itty bitty kitty! Plus there are borders in the washcloths that would make it even more difficult)

Also, so I feel like I am contributing to the community, here is an excellent photo-snowglobe project I received in my inbox that I felt would be nice to share!
