In your Easter bonnet...!

With all this crap stacked on it! She'll be the cutest Puggy in the

This weekend, there's a Pug Easter picnic taking place in a park near-ish to us! There's going to be a Pug Easter egg hunt, and of course, a Pug Easter bonnet contest! So of course, I had to whip up a little hat for my Puggy!!

I wanted it to really stand out, totally over the top, and... I think it worked! XD I used a tiny little flower basket that [livejournal.com profile] warp_and_woof gave me (with flowers in it, lol) when I was sick a few years ago (Yay for my packratty-ness!!) Made the brim out of yellow craft foam, and then decorated with pompoms, braid cord, a little pink bee button, a few paw prints I cut out of the rubber on a toy my other dog ate half of when she was a puppy (yay further packrattyness!), and the P-U-G on top are some letter magnets that I bought at a yardsale years ago (a whole bag full, none of them with the magnet bits still in - Again with the packrat pride!) And on the back is a little pink puff cotton tail (Figured there'd be no chance in hell that Puggy would tolerate the hat *AND* a cotton bunny tail on her butt!) and a little plastic word "Egghunt" - yet another packratty random doodad!

And that's the complete anatomy of this silly little hat! Now, on to the pics!:
