craftgrrl | (no subject)

I never thought I'd actually make a post here because I'm such an extreme craft novice, but based on the fact that we recently bought and have been playing the heck out of Katamari Damacy, and that I have a whole bunch of felt loitering in my sewing stuff (and, of course, this post helped me actually get my ass in gear ;) ) I decided to make a little Prince of All Cosmos to give my husband for Christmas. I only started it the other night so I don't have much done yet, but so far I'm pretty pleased with how it's shaping up.

I've never really done embroidery before and had to freehand his face, so it's a little funky and lopsided, but I think it'll look better once I get some stuffing behind it.

I'll post more pics once I get it done. It's been hard to find time to work on it because we work at the same place so I can't bring it here, haha.
