Hi, all! I need your craftspertise.
I would like to weld (or at least attach in some way) together some lengths of 18 gauge wire that I have. My plan is to make some beaded ornaments, and was imagining a six- or eight-pointed star made out of three or four lengths of wire, crossed over at the midpoints and sealed where they join at the center. (Hope that makes sense.) I don't know if tiny little welding tools exist or if they work... basically, what would be an ideal tool would be needlenosed pliers that could actually squeeze together and melt metal. Do any of you know if a small tool like that exists, or have any other idea what might work? I've done some Googling, but I don't even really know what to search for.
