Boy clothing seems to trend towards puppies! construction vehicles! dinosaurs! trains! Not that there is anything wrong with those (my kids actually really love dinosaurs) but finding cool boy shirts that don't cost more than my own clothing is pretty difficult these days.

So I made these shirts for my boys for Christmas. They are appliqued from felt, then I'm going to iron them on through the iron on transfer, then as a final touch embroider details. The shirts cost me $4 each, way cheaper than trying to find something they like online!

T-shirt to Racer Tank Recon Tutorial

This is a very simple tutorial but I had fun writing it anyway!

I dug out a T-shirt of my husband's. He has never been worn it before. Apparently I bought a size too small for him. Well, actually it was just nice, but he insisted the belly showed. So, he never wore it. Hmph.

I liked the print on this shirt, and I love racer back tops.

So, I got out my seam ripper (insert sinister laughter)

I would like to make my daughter some shirts with iron on transfers on them.
I've read through the memories and didn't find an answer to my question.
