A goodbye gift and some projects
Jun. 14th, 2008 08:28 pmThis year, I worked with a class of 21 grade 9 students (they're all about 14). It's nearly the end of the year, and I need some kind of project I can do for them to say goodbye. I won't be going back to that school next year, so I want a little something to give to them. I have about two weeks, and not a lot of money.
A few years ago, I did a little project with some index cards where I wrote each kid's name on one side, decorated and done up all fancy, and then on the other side wrote something I liked about them or a positive comment. The kids loved it, and I ran in to a few of them at this school, and they'd even kept them (aww). I can't seem to come up with anything but this to do again. Help!

And two little zippered pouches. I gave them to one of the teachers at work who gives out prizes to kids for little word games, and she kept one of them for herself :P
