It's been awhile...
Aug. 16th, 2008 10:27 pmTaking a break from our kitchen renovations (aka, replacing the sink unit that was HORRIBLE when we moved in at the beginning of May and have finally saved up enough money to replace!)
So, I thought I would post a few jewelry items I've made recently :)
What my family knows me for being obsessed about making - the Frame Pendant Necklace (this one is a bird one...popular these days, I suppose!) from metal frames and shrink plastic:
Here's another one - 'cept it's a tree/landscape scene:
Here's another one, but 3D-style using random findings and a flower bead in the one bead cup:
My mom's obsessed with hummingbirds, so I was inspired by that...and this is what came of it:
Matching earrings :P
Paper, clay and glass = FUN!
Fun here too! (sterling chain splurge)
BUNNIES!
Key pendant:
Simple tiny bloom necklace, using a bellflower bead and a bead cap finding:
I drew this with black ink on shrink plastic and then made a clay frame, attached sterling chain...and there you go:
Last - my mom's favourite (so she says!) - a mixture of sterling, citrine beads that I handwrapped, a jasper bead, and then a piece of Fine Silver that I shaped into leaves and hammered. Very nature-y:

Sorry that was so much! I kind of got carried away :)
