magazine purse instuctions
Apr. 10th, 2003 07:50 pmfor the fronts: pick out 2 pages from magazines that you like, glue them on something like computer paper.
for the sides: pick out another page of a magazine that you like, glue it to computer paper and cut it in the center, lengthwise.
for the bottom: find another picture of something you like, and make it 8"-3". glue it to computer paper.
for the inside: glue the computer paper (with the magazine page on top, of course) to the comics or something in the news paper.
once you're done gluing and cutting, use contact paper to laminate the front and backs of the pages.

with a sewing machine, turn the stich selecter, choose the zig zag stich. sew the sides together with a size 18 needle first and the bottom on last.
for the strap: hammer those round, gold, metal things in the sides.. i dont know what theyre called. then, put a ribbon in and sew the bottom of the strap several times so that it won't rip.
