[identity profile] teandoranges.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl
hi everyone :]  i recently bought a few hundred of these little guys with the intention of turning them into charms and making jewellery with them.

my first question is concerning glue. i've read in many places that the best kind of glue to use is diamond glaze, but i haven't been able to find it anywhere (in australia) so my only option would be to buy some online. the next best thing that i've been able to find locally is helmar's gemstone glue. i'm not sure if that would damage or alter the images i'm sticking to the glass though, so i'm a bit hesitant about using it.  has anyone had any similar experiences with helmar's gemstone glue? it is worth risking it or should i just get some diamond glaze?

my second question is what would be the best method for turning them into charms? my boyfriend suggested using a really small drill bit and drilling little holes into the glass and then attaching jump rings to the hole. can anyone think of anything else? because although i do think that's a good idea, it'd be really difficult to keep the little gems still while i'm drilling them because they're so tiny. thank you! :]
