This is my baby! I am so incredibly proud of her. My 4th custom ever (maybe I should post the others?), and she was SO hard to part with. I'm gonna make myself one. xD
For the Sailor Moon Swap at the MLPTP I chose to make Sailor Heavy Metal Papillion for my partner, SailorLibra. She is an uncommonly known villain from the last season of Sailor Moon, the Sailor Stars arc, and she only appears in the manga ever-so-briefly.
Anyways, details... She started life as a baity Valenshy, but not too baity cause I refuse to do a full body paint if I can avoid it. xD Yea... The skirt is hand-dyed chiffon. Her "shorts" and bracelets are sculpted with Crayola Model Magic (cause I'm still iffy about putting a pony in the oven, and I can't afford Apoxie Sculpt right now). The crystals on her bracelets are little flat-back gems. She was painted with acrylics and sealed with Mod Podge Gloss Lustre. All the blue parts of her outfit were covered in micro glitter. Her eyes are slightly anime-styled, and they're also my first full eye repaint. ^^v Her wings are cut from the plastic of a My Little Pony box, attached with wire and doused with micro beads. Her hair is Dolly Hair's Forget-Me-Not; braided for that nice full wave that the real Sailor Heavy Metal Papillion has.
Reference picture, which, by the way, is the only full-length, official color picture of Sailor Heavy Metal Papillion.
