Yes, for those of you familar with it, the colors are off. I used an action figure for my reference, when I was fabric shopping without having access to my computer or discs to get the anime colors. They're close, but far enough off to make look color blind, lol.
And a close up of the hat and such. The green details are hot glue that I paited with glass paint.
A friend dared me to make a particular Akane (Ranma 1/2) as well, of an outfit she wore in one episode. It's not my greatest work by far, but, I'm more or less happy how it came out. And I hid what I'm not happy with XD
And one that shows the construction better - my hat had fallen off, and I was not yet reunited with it in this one.
From previous cons, I threw together a Tsunade (Naruto). I don't know the person I'm standing with, but it's the only good photo I have of my outfit.
And a Dias, Star Ocean EX version. I did not make the shirts - I just pieced two together and added the line. Made everything else (including the belts), though.
And one that shows no, the pants are not as tight as they look in that one
Sooo....yeah. I have more planned, so I'll probably have more to post in a few months.
