Every time I look in Michaels at their unfinished wood items, the items are extremely disappointing. On top of the very little to choose from,  Most of it is cheaply made junk, looks junky, has huge dings in it, or is clearly stapled together with the staples plainly showing,. And as such I feel is way over priced. Now true it's only like 25 dollars and that's not much, but it's to much to pay for poorly made junky dinged up looking items. Specially not when I could make the items cause I know how I have the time and the machinery, I just don't have the patience. I take pride in my work and I will not put my name( or money)  to poorly made products. Specially not if I ever hope to sell them* which eventually I do* and When I give gifts i prefer to give them the best product I can.

I want to buy pre made unfinished wooden items, like doll beds* not miniature ones big dolls like American doll size* and paint them and customize them with decals and stencils.

As far as craft stores  that sell unfinished wood items, to my knowledge we're limited to michaels and joanns.
