Well, I finally got up the courage to post some of my stuff after being a member here forever!

This was basically just a plain papier-mache box that I decorated with craft paint, varnish, ribbon, scrapbooking stickers and rub-on transfers. Yes, I know "keepsakes" is one word, but that's the only way I could get it to fit, haha.

I found these cool undecorated chipboard pieces at Big Lots for a couple of bucks and didn't know what to do with them. So I ripped the cardboard backing off of a pack of palette paper (it was thick and sturdy) to use as a canvas of sorts. I painted everything with craft paint/varnish and used embroidery floss for the dog leash. I feel like it needs some sort of frame, but I haven't found anything suitable yet.

I work at a preschool in the infant room, and these were my gifts to the parents for Christmas. I bought the wood plaques at the Dollar Tree, painted them with (you guessed it) craft paint, rub-ons, velvet stickers, and put the babies' (laminated) pictures on them. Then I replaced the blah white strings with matching ribbons. [Faces blurred to protect their identities.]
