I'm looking to buy my first house, so I've been working on a hope chest of sorts. I'm calling it Operation Domestication.

Here's the starts of it:

I didn't make the apron - I swapped for it. It's a million times better constructed than anything I would have made, so I feel like I made out like bandit. I did two more towels last night after I shot this photo. The transfers are from SublimeStitching.com. These are my first attempts at embroidery.

I guess it's not completely the beginning - I did make some some sweeper covers. I think I posted them here before. Once I actually find THE HOUSE, I'll start in on curtains and rugs and fun stuff like that.
