Has anybody ever used those acrylic (I think) fillable bubble charms/cabochons in jewelry making - like these or these? I've been dying to figure out how to make my own photo and art jewelry with whatever images I like without having to, say, paint on clay (as I couldn't paint miniature scenes to save my life) or use shrinky dinks (which look rather childish). These photo bubble things seem somewhat promising. Has anyone used them? I assume you basically just glue/seal your image or photo onto the back of the bubble cabochon and then glue that onto whatever setting you want to use, correct? Do these items come out looking fairly 'elegant' or very hand made/chaotic/whatever? (I'm twenty-two and a law student, and would hate to invest time and effort in making something which I then find I cannot wear because it looks like a creative but uncoordinated and disorganized ten year old made it - which sadly happens with a lot of my crafts.) I may look into ordering some of these puppies on ebay, but would appreciate any help, advice, or other suggestions or input, thanks. And yes, I've been checking the memories and searching but found absolutely nothing about this particular product/project.
