How to attach wire hair combs?

I'm making a hair piece for a friend for a wedding she is attending and I want to use wire hair combs like this:

I can't figure out a way to attach them though. When I make hair pieces I usually use alligator clips and hard felt and then cut a hole in the felt and super glue it.

Any tips on how to attach these?
