Several questions all in one:

1) I want to make a mock-Girl Scout uniform for... *cough* my own purposes. I need the pattern, though, because I'm going to make it in pink so that it reminds you of the GS uniform but isn't it exactly. I have a pattern number (Simplicity 9437), but I'm having trouble finding the pattern... I'm wondering if it's only sold in fall when Scouts starts up for the year.

ALSO

2) When I do lay hold of this pattern, I'll be using the brownie pattern, so it will most-certainly be at least 10 sizes too small. I'm only making the vest and possibly skirt here (because white blouses are easy to find, and if I decided on a jumper those are all kinds of easy to make, and, as we all know, ugly, plain jumper patterns are ABOUNDING)... sooooo... what would be the best way to broaden the dimensions on this vest? I've never up-sized a pattern to this extent... what's everyone's best advice???

*corrections?* There are apparently many, many GS patterns, these patterns may also be mascarading under Simplicity 7776 and 7777
