Zombie Elvis
Oct. 27th, 2009 09:23 amI have been a member of this community for a while but this is my first post. I am a crafter from waaaayy back and I believe it is in my blood. My mother is always doing something. I enjoy all of your crafts and projects. It is fun to see what you all have done or are doing. Anyway back to the story of this zombie Elvis. ........
I saw him there, sitting outside in a open area of the antique mall. Yeah I had seen him there before left in the rain and snow for years. I would occasionally glance at him and perhaps touch him but always left him sit there. Today.... Today was different. I wanted him and I drove with determination to get him. I marched up, proudly picked him up and walked to the counter. The owner tried to tell me he could be fixed. I scoffed at the idea. He was perfect the way he was. The missing piece of nose, the pocked skin, missing piece of ear and the poetically placed 'trach". This vintage weathered bust ......He was a Zombie Elvis in the making. His time was now. Mother Nature deserves a lot of credit. It was her hand that created the perfect decomp on him. I just highlighted her work. So without further adieu... here is my Zombie Elvis.

PS coming soon a 70's Franken Elvis.... I bought his "brother" too.
