Hi yall! I've been crafting like crazy over the past week, and I wanted to share some with you. I made some t-shirts, but they didn't turn out so well. However, I'm pretty pleased with the gothic dolly I made, and the book arts I've been practicing. I have two photos for you. I've been working on modifying an old children's book by filling it with tiny paintings, and I've just made a book and bound it for my won poetry. Sorry about the quality of the photos.



The poetry book, which is called, "Things You Can Do with a Sharpened Pencil", since you can't read it from the photo, I made by printing the pages out myself from my puter, then ripping the pages out of a really cheap clothbound journal I got at the 99cent store. I sewed my pages into a booklet, then glued that into the cover. Then I covered the cover with contact paper, since I didn't like the pattern on it. Then I glued a design on with the title etc. This was my first try at it, and it turned out pretty nice -- lies, flat, doesn't fall apart, etc.
