new shirt!
May. 11th, 2003 08:03 pmhey grrls! i made a new tshirt!
i took a black t-shirt from the salvation army (2.99) and cut it diagonally across the sleeve and chest
i cut the other arm off to make it a tank top and hemmed it all
then i took a pink blue purple white and yellow striped shirt, also from the sally anne (2.99) and cut the bottom off to make a new sleeve and tie for the bottom.
i sewed the other shoulder on and took the bottom of the black shirt and sewed it up making a 'sleeve' for the tie to go in. (in the pictures i dont have the tie in. but it goes through the 'sleeve' on the bottom and since i left both sides open, can tie on either side)
this was a really fun project to do, i didnt get frustrated once, and it was really easy! it would have been cheaper if i had gone to a cheaper salvation army too!
