Hello! I just wanted to share some recycled wool soakers (they go over diapers, cloth or disposable) that I have made in the past few months that I am pretty proud of. I started out making them for fun, which grew into a hobby. A little over year ago, I was one of those people who swore up and down that "I don't know how to sew". When my son was born and I couldn't find anything I liked for him, I finally decided to suck it up and learn. I am pretty much all self taught, even though my mom has been sewing pretty much her whole life, she never taught me. Anywho, I love appliques & embroidery so I am constantly pushing myself (with the help of my artist husband) to try new ideas that pop into my head. Here are just a few of the ones that I really liked how they turned out.

A closer view of the umbrella & details:

A "MOM" Tattoo Applique I made just in time for Mother's Day:

A Rainbow with Clouds:

Closer:

A "Skirtie", which I am just IN LOVE with. SO much more beautiful irl:

A Sparrow:

I just finished up this newborn soaker/hat set last night. Also better in person:

Las but not least, my ultimate favorite! This one was hand drawn & sewn by machine just stitching and back stitching. It took For-ev-er, but so worth it:

Closer view of the details:

Thanks for looking & sorry for the mediocre pictures!
