making glass jars more interesting

I saw this craft idea in a magazine (Real Simple maybe??) and thought it would be cute. Considering I am always transferring things from bags to containers and it was very cheap to execute, why the hell not!

All you do is paint the container with chalkboard paint in your desired shape, let it dry for a day or 2 and voila!

SLOM jar from IKEA $2.99- 3.99 ea
can of chalkboard paint $11. They sell it in black but they also have a tintable version you can have made in several colors if you don't want black. I got it at Home Depot.
MALA box of colored chalk from IKEA, $1.99

and there you go!
