Here's the hat I did today for the Halloween craft show. I call it Midnight Shimmer!



It was dusty and covered with dog hair when I got it. It took nearly an hour to clean it with a brush and some packing tape. Then I added this iridescent ribbon I bought last year at the thrift store, some feathers and a butterfly clip. I had some Halloween fabric I cut for a kind of veil effect in the back and once it looked good I sprayed the whole thing with gold glitter paint to make it shimmer under the light! I'm kinda proud of it.
