re-purposing fishnets?
Nov. 7th, 2010 10:10 pmSo, I have this pair of cheap black fishnet pantyhose. I'm ashamed to say that I bought them at one of those seasonal shops that's only open right before Halloween. They're just plain black fishnet pantyhose, with a seam running up the back of each leg. I managed to wear them twice, but the seam in the crotch failed, and now what I have is black fishnet pantyhose with a giant hole in the crotch.
Yeah, I can still wear them, but they might be better used for something else.
Ideas? Tutorials? I know someone who made a pair into sleeves to wear under a T-shirt, but I'm not sure how she did it, and all I can imagine is a hunch in the back under my shirt where the panty section bunches up. "what's that?" "Oh, it's my spare butt."
I don't want to cut them until I know what I'm doing; I don't want to end up with a pile of useless mesh that can't even be used as a cleaning rag.
Thanks in advance!
