Stitch charts

I've got some knitting designs I've been working on based on fair isle principles but with modern pictoral motifs instead of the traditional stars and crosses etc. They're fairly elaborate, and I thought of putting stitch charts on etsy for other people to use as well. I'm not really up on the business side of pattern design, and I'm not really planning to go into it wholesale, just make a little money from designs I've done anyway, and I have some queries. So I thought I'd ask you wise and beautiful people here.

1) $1 is a fair amount for an excel file with two design variations and multiple colour ways, right?

2) In the conditions of use I want to allow people to sell items they've made using the designs, just not on an industrial scale. Would you be taken aback if you bought a stitch chart and were asked to not sell more than 50 items using that design?
