i have a new hobby :)
Nov. 27th, 2010 08:25 pmKind of an "in-the-works" post along with a small question...
So I've been working on these dread falls..out of yarn, not synthetic hair because frankly I don't want to spend the extra money and I like how these are coming out :) So these are made from wool yarn wrapped around some strips of extra material. I've made yarn falls before (I posted a pic of me wearing some in my raggedy ann-esque halloween costume), but these are my first dreaded yarn falls. I've only gotten a few done so far and my hands are killing me!

about attaching them, as they cant be looped around a ribbon or elastic like a group of yarn...Right now they have a couple inches of fabric poking out of both ends , and I know I have to sew the fabric onto a ribbon (or maybe headband?) but if anyone has any pointers on how to do this without making it look like complete crap but keeping them thick I'd much appreciate it..here is a nice close up of them..I have black hair so I think they'll blend nicely..they're also the perfect length so I won't have to bun my hair, I can keep it down and it will mesh well
