I was miraculously gifted an iPod touch recently. I wanted it to have a cozy place to rest when it's kicking around in my purse, or in case of spills when my kids are around. ;)

I found a lovely large piece of bronze leather at a garage sale last summer for $1(!!), and figured making an iPod case would be a nice small project to start with.

This was my first leather working project (as you can tell from my wonky cutting and stitching), but I love the results and learned a lot.

I loosely followed the (poorly proofread) instructions here, as well as reading up on basic wet molding leather techniques. I added the flap for extra protection, and so that the sleeve didn't have to be super snug. It's a good fit, but easy to get in and out.
