Newbie post :)

Hey all! This is my first post for this lovely community. So many awesome things here! I'm in awe of all your mad skillz. :D

I recently started making leather masks and I'm loving the entire process. Last week, I finished a cutsie masquerade mask, and I'm super pleased with how it came out. Mostly, I've been making Killjoy style (of My Chemical Romance's "Danger Days") and this was a welcome change. In case anyone is interested, I have a gallery of all my previous Killjoy and masquerade designs over on flicker. I've only made a handful, but I hope to see it grow soon!

I'm using vegetable tanned leather, acrylic paint, rhinestones, sealant and elastic cord. For this mask, I just picked up a brush and started painting with no real plan. Who doesn't love pink and black? :D I hope you enjoy it!
