two hats

I'm home for the weekend to celebrate my birthday on monday. :)
I knit this hat for my dad on the (8 hour!) train ride here.

This is the pattern I used.
And here is the ravelry page. I used acrylic because he has allergies & bigger needles to make it fit for men.

Also:

Improvised this simple hat to make use of my handspun “unicorn hair yarn”. There is a tiny bit of sheen that you can’t quite get from the photos.
