A crafty challenge!

craftgrrlGreetings, everyone! I've been a lurker for some time and have finally decided to join and make a post, in light of a challenge I received from my boyfriend today.
He knows I have an appreciation for crafting and like to recycle objects and turn them into, well, something they weren't before. All you crafters know what I mean! ;) Anyway, he likes to wear a lot of fitted hats, and gave me an old, tattered one today, wagering that I couldn't make something new out of it.
Naturally, I accepted his challenge; however, I am at a complete loss as to what to do with it! Does anyone out there have any ideas on how to give this drab, worn out fitted hat a new life?
