I spent a long time looking up fancy covers for my Nook but I couldn't decide what one I wanted, so I made a temporary one that... well, it's been in use 6 months or so. I'm hoping to make a TARDIS cover one day, but in the meantime this works well.

No flash to show the colors a little better.

I made this using an old book from a library book sale. It was so hard to actually start breaking down the book. I hate destroying them, haha. But it had illustrations in it that I wanted to use for another project so I just said "Suck it up!" and went at it. The inside is a flannel fabric I got from the remnant bin at Walmart. I covered plastic canvas in the fabric with some glue, and then stitched all along the edges to give it a cuter (to me anyway) look. Then I glued the fabric wrapped pieces to the book, after adding elastic to one of them.

It's not perfect and probably not good for protecting it from bumps and stuff, but since it just sits on my nightstand or around the house, that's all I need. I'll probably make another one out of a thinner book once I find one, or maybe just go ahead and make the TARDIS case.
