May. 29th, 2003 02:50 pmMe again.
Okay, this time i need advice and ideas.
A: I have a massive stack of old magazines and cutouts lying around. They have all seen their fair share of cutouts, collages, the like.
Problem is, i am feeling mighty creative today. and they are the most easily accessed crafting supply i have.
Does anyone have any ideas of uses for them, besides the typical collages? I've done the regular collages, they can get kind of boring and tedious after you've done so many (my last room was plastered on the walls with cutouts, ads, etc. etc.
I was thinking posibly creating some sort of wall-paper with them. Don't know how to do it, but i am sure it could be done.
B: i saw someone posted the other day about a homemade hammock. I have been DYING to create one, the only problem is, i have no place to hand a full, standard hammock. (i live in an apartment, with no balcony) What i have wanted to do instead was create a hanging chair, to hang in the corner of my room or out in the living room. Can anyone point me towards a pattern or directions? i would create my own, but i am utterly AWFUL with creating my own patterns. tried once, it ended in utter and complete failure. Plus i am not sure at all what supplies i need, especially to make the bolt and that strong enough to support a 150lb person.
thanks ^_^
