Mardi Gras bead Easter eggs

craftgrrlAs I was googling around looking for what to do with the metric ton of beads my girls got at endymion (a mardi gras parade), I found these:
I think they'd make a really neat decoration for easter. I'm assuming they used a styrofoam egg form or a plastic one and just glued the beads on. What type of glue should I use? This to that says le page 5 min epoxy but it's not available in my area not to mention 5 mins is a long time to hold a bead in place... what would you guys use instead?
