what you would be seeing if i wasn't too lazy to take and then load pictures off my digital camera, thus resorting to use of the inferior webcam:

AOL DISC-O BALL!

Yes, that's right, a disco ball made out of AOL CD fragments! And because I know you're all jealous and dying to have your own, I will include some extremely useful tips:

- use a styrofoam ball and hot glue, you can grab a few handfuls of AOL CDs basically anywhere
- use a box cutter or razorblade to draw guidelines of where you want to break the CD (do this one piece at a time, I tried making a grid and it didn't work out so well... also larger pieces are easier to work with)
- the straighter the line you cut, the more likely it will break just how you want it to
- wrap the CD in a towel when you break it to avoid having plastic shards imbedded in your eyes.
- for the string, I just poked a hole, shoved a loop of yarn inside and filled it with hot glue

good luck!

(also, I swear my arm isn't really all deathly skinny and whatnot)
