ok. this may sound like an odd request, but i really want to try it. i need a new boobag for school in the fall, and i haven't been able to find a place that sells what i want, so i'm going to try and make it/find someone to make it for me. but here's what i want: a bag the style of one of those baby slings, the hip-hugger kinds that have the really thick straps. but i want my bag to hang lower, under my butt or so, and i want it to be a bit deeper/wider, so it can actually carry books and such. if anyone has any ideas for how i could alter a pattern for this to have a longer strap and a deeper bag section, that'd be great. if anyone wants to volunteer to try and make me one, that'd be even better, and i'd pay you anything reasonable. any general advice at all is welcome too- i'm not usually one for big crafting endeavors, which this will be. wish me luck!
