nail polish stains?

Long time lurker, first time poster :-)
Anyway, I've got a problem. My nephew took some of my nail polish while I was at school and got it all over some of the things I left home, including a polyester dress, my graduation dress (cotton), and a shirt (cotton). I've tried bleaching, which took the pigment out of the shirt but didn't even touch the nailpolish, and now I'm soaking it in nail polish remover, which seems to be taking off some of the layers but none of the pigment.
Do any of you have suggestions for getting nail polish stains out of these materials? I'm probably going to dye or cut the sleeves off the shirt (since that's all it got on), but I need to keep both dresses as-is.
