craftgrrl | New craft trade type community.......help wanted! (Reply)

I checked with Kim to make sure it was ok to post this, so here goes.......

I want to start a new community where crafty girls can exploit their talents and make things for each other. So, if you have always wanted a kitty ear hat/altered book/plectrum earrings, but didn't really have the skills or resources to make it yourself, you could post and ask somebody to make it for you. The idea is that you could then make something else in return. I would like to keep it as a trading community as much as possible.....
Anyway, i'm posting because i'm looking for somebody to help me set it up and maintain it. I'm pretty new to Lj and i have no web skills at all really. Basically, you'd need to be able to make the community look nice, keep an eye on posts and most importantly, have a genuine interest in crafting. Basically, somebody to keep an eye on the technical aspects that my poor brain can't handle!

Would many people be interested in joining a community such as this? I just think it would be really great seeing as we all seem to be good at different things.
