This is what I have been up to today. I made a bag out of some neat Asian fabric that I found a few weeks ago with black lining and a Velcro closure. Then I made a little bag that matches the first bag to go inside of it. It also has Velcro to keep it closed. The last thing I made was supposed to be a wallet out of some cute fabric with frogs on it but it is kind of way to big so I may turn it into a card holder since I have a card for every stupid store that I shop at. This was the first day that me and my brother VX 1120 (sewing machine) have ever gotten along in our 5 year relationship, I guess that is because I finally really looked at the manual and figured out how to adjust the tension. So now I can use a sewing machine. I have a bit of trouble going in a straight line a lot of times but I think I did ok for my first real project. All of the stuff I made came from my head and random cutting with the scissors. I cannot use patterns, I am much better at making up my own things. Life might be a little easier now that I do not have to hand sew everything.
