While helping my best friend move we went through her closet. She complained that her favorite jeans got a hole in the knee when she fell one day. I told her I'd take the jeans home, look through my fabric leftovers and tell her what I had. She loved my brocade I had left. It's so pretty, too. ^_^ The problem is, it's the heavier grade silk brocade that is dry-clean only. I don't want her to have to take her jeans to the dry cleaners to get them clean. Let's face it, that's just impractical. so my question for all of you is: Does washable brocade exist? No, I'm not talking about silk-screened cotton or cotton blends. I'm wanting something that is still woven and has a nice sheen to it so it still should be at least silk finished maybe. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Or even pointing me in a direction for better answers. Thanks!
