My mom and her coolness.
Jul. 31st, 2003 02:17 amMy mom is, perhaps, the ultimate craft girl.
I wish I could take pictures of all of the things that she's done over the years. She used to design logos for various companies, paint sets for plays, sew costumes, even paint her own stuff on the side. She'd take other people's trash, literally, even stopping her car to pick up a promising chair from somebody's garbage pile. She even used to make these amazing pen and ink christmas cards, but unfortunately, I have no pictures of these.
But, I do have

My mom has a thing for collecting mirrors. She used to smash them, as well, than set them back together with lead.

Just a smidgen of a wall she painted in a hallway of our house.

My brother and I's bathroom. She painted it after I showed her a picture of some guy's bathroom that he covered completely with multi-colored tiles.

Finally, a 50's style dress she made for a concert I wanted to go to. Sorry for the crapiness of the picture.
Unfortunately, I don't think any of those truly do her justice.
