craftgrrlok i was thinking of taking an old pair of shorts (or buying really cheep ones) and rolling up the cuffs so they are straight with the crotch seam and sewing them to make a bag. The problem is i dont know what to use as the strap... i was thinking about using a belt but i would need 2 bc they woldnt be long enuff.. any ideas?
Ohh i also got a pattern to make my homecoming dress... im going to use this satiny black fabric and i want to add some white fabric with litte black polka-dots on it and im not sure how to use it... i was thinking around the bottom to make it look layered. the dress is also strapless but i want to add straps... do u think if i use the polka dot fabric for the straps and the bottom and make a purse out of it, it will look nice?
