Ack, bleach stains!
Aug. 7th, 2003 04:53 pmHey, I'm relatively new here, and I have a quick question. I checked the FAQ and couldn't find anything, so hopefully I'm in the right place! Anyway, I bought two fairly expensive Express shirts a few months ago that I only got to wear a few times before they somehow got bleach stains on them. They are still very wearable except for the bleach stains, so I was thinking that maybe I could dye them and possibly the stains wouldn't show up anymore. Does anybody know if that will work or will the bleach stains still show? If the bleach stains will still show, does anybody have any suggestions on what can be done with the shirts that doesn't involve cutting them up? They are really cute and fit well, so I don't want to just throw them out.
As for something a little more crafty than that, I am in the process of refinishing an old vanity of mine. I bought it for cheap at a used furniture store because it was very pretty, but it was painted a horrible white and blue color. I'm in the process of stripping off the paint right now, and I plan on either staining the whole thing pink or just staining the top pink and painting the rest of it black. I can't wait to finish, but I have to work outside and the weather has been pretty crappy lately. Anyway, I'll post pictures when I'm done!
Thanks!!
