the wonders of acrylic paint

I decorated a box to hold my cds. Nothing too fancy, but I like it. I bought the unpainted box from walmart for about $5. I think it's made of balsa wood. Here you can see what they suggested you do with the box:

I also made a splatter painting across three canvas panels to spiff up the walls of my dorm. I wanted to buy a print of Autumn Rhythm to frame and hang but it isn't available so I made my own

I have some paint left over, but nothing left to paint. Got any ideas? Would it be really tacky if I painted posterboard, like oaktag?
