i love wearing those cute asian mary jane shoes, but they wear out so fast! i bought a new pair today and i couldn't bring myself to throw away the old pair. i finally decided to save the buckle and cut out the embroidery.

anyone have any suggestion on what i could do with it? I was thinking of stiching one to a shirt, or even to a purse or a little pouch. what do you all think would be the best way to sew it one? sewing glue? machine? by hand? also, if i chose to put one on a shirt, it should be hand washed right?

today i also went to this fantastic store in vancouver called Dressew. i bought some cute beaded appliques of some fish (sorry my scanner is pretty bad). i am unsure how to sew them on to material as well, and the same question about washing! thank you!
