newbie here.
Sep. 11th, 2003 08:41 pmHello everyone. I'm Gina, and I'm addicted to glass/mirror etching.
My etchings over the years under the cuts.

My friend saw a painting in NYC she liked but didn't buy. She took a pic of it, and I etched it from her picture. This is only a portion of the whole thing (it was rather large). It had a car, cheese, coffee, a heart and a flower, with the french word under it. She liked it. :)

Made this in 3D Design class senior year. I know it's a kiddie rhyme, but I prefer it when Crispin Glover sings it (couldn't fit the word trapeze, so I drew one! aww yeah.).

I made a Slytherin mirror for my best friend who has since moved to Harvard. In fact her family moved to Cali, so I won't be seeing her much anymore. :( I wrote "to JZG, my house mate" "<3 Gina" on it. This is the one I made for myself. I consider the two sister pieces.

A mirror (5x5) gift for my baby cousin's christening.

A mirror for my baby cousin's slightly older sister. She loves Harry Potter, so I used the book font and drew a little wand. I don't like the stars however. Meh.
I etched all these by covering them in masking tape, drawing, cutting out the pieces with my regular exacto, and etching. Hooray!
